‘Integrate to Bridge Hopes’ was the theme of the ESRM that was hosted by NKP Plus- kshitij Drop in Center, Kolhapur. A total of 87 participants from 7 DIC & 1 OVC projects were present. Care & Support of People Living with HIV, An Account of Avert Society’s Seven Years in Eight Districts of Maharahstra ( Marathi & English) was released by the dignitaries which included, Ms Smriti Acharya Project Director, Avert Society, Dr. Parchand Dean Govt Medical college Dr. Nithurkar Civil Surgeon, Kolhapur, Dr. Vilas Yadav Deputy Director Health, Mr. Prashant Yende president NMP plus, Mr. Sanjay Mane, Women & Child Welfare officer, Mrs Shardha Patil Project Director, SSGSY, Dr. Pravin Nike DPO Kolhapur. Dr. Parchand announced that free space would be provided in the CPR to run a DIC for PLHIV. Similarly, the other dignitaries too extended their support for linking PLHIVs to various Government social schemes. The highlight of the ESRM was the streetplay: Pravas Jeevanacha performed by members of Aamhich Aamche DIC of Sangli to demonstrate the need for free ST bus pass for PLHIVs to access the ART. This ESRM was conducted in a conference mode, plenary session were organized, oral & poster presentation on innovations and good practices under Care & Support (DIC & OVC). There was a separate hall where in poster presentation along with products and poster exhibition on Innovative and IGP activities were displayed. The event was given good media coverage in the local newspapers.
