Wardha Visit

On 12th February Ms. Smriti Acharya, Project Director, Avert Society and Dr. Sonal, Add. Director, National Vector Borne Disease Control Program visited Nagpur, MGM Hospital- Sewagram to conduct an interactive session on HRG Mapping. Avert Society had supported the Continuum Medical Education (CME) program for Indian Association of Public Health (IAPH), Maharashtra Branch & Indian Association of Prevention & Social Medicine (IAPSM).

In addition, Dr. Padwal, Project Director Goa SACS also visited Wardha LWS NGO – Nobel Shikshan Sanstha. Dr. Padwal emphasized the importance of HAART, Caesarian, Breastfeeding and Early Infant Diagnosis (EID) for PPTCT program. Dr. Padwal conversed on linking youths to NYK Mandal to increase Red Ribbon Club members, blood donation camps in villages.

Later the Avert team also visited the nearest village sub-center and Knowledge – Information –Centre (KIC).
