Programs to address the management of HIV/AIDS calls for trained human resource interventions that adapt to changing local realities. Avert Society has provided capacity building inputs to programs that focus on HIV and STI related concerns and their management.

The empowerment process addresses the building up of both - Human Resources and Institutional capacities to act, creating an enabling environment.

The management of HIV/AIDS as with other health concerns is determined by the local realities, development factors and socio-cultural norms that play a significant role.

For comprehensive action at the state level, Avert Society addresses the need for capacity building among institutions  and  intervening officers or professionals such as the Municipal Corporations/Councils, Health Care Providers, ANMs/Nurses, Community Groups (inclusive off PLHIVs, Self Help Groups and Collectives) and concerned agencies, from the Public and Private Sector.
